A one-day youth orientation workshop was taken up under the project “Nirman Program” conducted by Pahar Foundation at Environment Conference Hall, Rahatgaon. In this workshop, 50 youth from 10 tribal dominated villages of Rahatgaon tehsil participated in the workshop. In the workshop, the Pahar Foundation shared detailed information about the Nirman Progam to the youth by the team. Motivated the youth to join the Nirman progam to make their perspectives enriching and value oriented. The youngsters were informed that NIRMAN program is an initiative with youth focused on youth leadership development and active citizen development. It will also imbibe leadership skills to local youth while imbibing constitutional values and developing an understanding of local social issues and will provide them an opportunity to facilitate these skills for other youth and stakeholders in their community. During this time, all the youth came forward to learn their values, leadership skills and community related initiatives by joining the program. The workshop was successfully concluded after the suggestion and feedback session. During this time, Vishan Kumar Deora, CEO, and other team members such as Irshad Khan, Deepika Sarathe, Rajendra Kalam and Kiran Sathe from the Pahar team were involved in the workshop.
