Educational material distributed to tribal girls – 06 Aug 24

Pahar Foundation is supporting higher education of tribal girls. Educational kits were distributed through the Umeed program of the Pahar Foundation in village Badwani, under which school bags, notebooks, pen pencils, compox boxes, lunch boxes, water bottles, sanitary pads, shoes, socks etc. were given to selected 20 girls of Badwani, Keljhiri, Jawardha and Bothi villages. They were also provided sponsorships for admission to school for the last four years. The program has been continuously supporting these girls for secondary school and higher studies. In the future, these girls will be supported by the institution. The Umeed Programme supports tribal girls in pursuing education and leadership development. This programme connects tribal girls with higher education and develops their leadership. On the day of the event, saplings were planted by Sarpanch Sunil Sathe, Secretary Gyandev Manik and Assistant Secretary Amarlal Kalam and girls also planted saplings in Barwani.
