Pahar Foundation organized the school enrollment festival program in Gram Panchayat Amsagar’s Primary school. At the program, a yellow rice was gifted to the house of newly admitted child’s parents and invited them for school entry and motivate the children to send them to school daily. The parents of the newly admitted children homered them with a tilak and sent children off from their homes to school. The community and the youth group members from Pahar Foundation organized a rally with drums alongside dancing and slogans to bring the children to the entrance of the school. Sarpanch Ramku Bai’s husband Jai Singh and former sarpanch Shrikishan Dhurve welcomed the children by honouring tilak and cutting the ribbon. On that day, they distributed the books to all the children who participated in that festival. Principal Manoj Upadhyay, Sunita Bilare, Manju Malviya, school in-charge Yogita Kolhe and others were present at the event.
