Nirmaan
“Nirmaan” is an initiative focused on youth leadership and active citizenship development. It inspires youth to bring about social change in their community. In this one-year journey of Nirmaan, youth experience the journey from self to society and from I to we and start taking leadership at the community level and act as a social change agent for other youth, stakeholders and the community in their community.
Youth Mobilization
Workshops, youth clubs and forums are undertaken in remote villages like Jharbida, Umardha and Jinwani to mobilize youths
Community issues
Helping them understand different Rural issues and find solutions
Adopting ethical practice
Helping them recognize human values among youths
Constitutional values
A one day dialogue conclave on human values was conducted with youth and adolescents in the tribal hostel of Timarni block through puppetry

One Year Journey
of a member under Nirmaan Program
Nirman programme is a one year intensive journey with youth focused on youth leadership and active citizenship building with a view to enhance youth participation in social change and community development, to involve youth leadership and to foster constitutional values in the community through youth.
Nirman journey will develop a deeper understanding of youth leadership, active citizenship through interactive and monthly sessions and workshops.
Youths will be given opportunities to identify local issues, find solutions and take collective initiatives through social action projects.
During this journey of construction, mentors will guide them and sessions will also be conducted on local issues/topics. This one year construction journey will be full of experiences and learnings and we will be able to understand the real world around us.
